Where are you located?
We are at 28 Raglan Street North in Renfrew, Ontario, inside the former Mill Music location. Our building includes the big yellow silo visible from the main street. Our studio is inside the main entrance (same entrance for Cannabis 228) and through the fire door straight ahead.
What payment methods do you accept?
bm audioworks accepts Interac debit, Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover credit cards, as well as Interac e-transfers, Google Wallet, Apple Pay, business cheques, and Canadian cash (exact amount). We do not accept personal cheques, money orders, or any other means of payment. We are required to charge 13% HST for all of our services, unless you are tax exempt.
What are your hours of operation?
The bm audioworks studio is open 9am to 5pm Eastern Time on weekdays. The studio is closed on Saturdays, Sundays, and all statutory holidays observed in Ontario. These holidays are New Year’s Day, Family Day, Good Friday, Easter Sunday, Victoria Day, Canada Day, Civic Holiday, Labour Day, Thanksgiving Day, Remembrance Day, Christmas Day, and Boxing Day.
What equipment do you use?
The studio at bm audioworks includes a RØDE RØDECaster Pro II audio console, an Electro-Voice RE20 microphone, M-Audio BX4 reference monitor speakers, AKG K240S headphones, and a Mac Mini desktop computer/digital audio workstation with Adobe Audition. bm audioworks’ mobile DJ service uses a MacBook Pro with Mixxx DJ software, a Numark Mixtrack Pro FX DJ controller, and Reck powered speakers.
What kinds of videotape can you work with?
At this time, bm audioworks can transfer original content from standard VHS, Super VHS (SVHS), VHS-C, S-VHS-C, Betamax, Video8, Hi8, Digital8 and MiniDV tapes, as well as reels of 8mm and Super 8 home movie film. Please note that, due to Canadian, American and international copyright laws, we will not transfer content that has been copyrighted by a third party.
Where is your mobile DJ service available?
bm audioworks’ mobile DJ service is available throughout Renfrew County (including the Arnprior, Barry’s Bay, Beachburg, Calabogie, Cobden, Deep River, Eganville, Pembroke, Petawawa, Pikwakanagan/Golden Lake and Renfrew areas) and Quebec’s Pontiac region (including the Bryson, Campbell’s Bay, Fort-Coulonge, Ladysmith, Portage-du-Fort, Quyon and Shawville areas), as well as the City of Ottawa.
